Hot Geckos still around?

Hey, I was just curious if Dan's Hot Geckos was still around. I bought my High Glow Tangerine from him about 5 years ago and I was just curious if he's still around. I was looking all around for the website, but it's not there anymore.

I believe he sold his geckos to someone else. I saw a post from him here relatively recently though. Do a search for him in the member list and you may get more info.

I've seen someone using the name Hot Geckos posting on facebook recently. Not sure if its the same guy but the geckos that I've seen from them sure look nice and hot!

Dan retired quite a few years ago. He does still check in on us from time to time though.

Hello all, like a smoker coming back for a puff every so often it's fun to see what's new in the gecko world. I made the mistake of going to the Daytona Expo this year and now have a Sun Dragon boa sibling from my buddy Manny at Perfect Predators. The only geckos at my place are replicas (like the one on the front of the house) but the love never goes away.

I'm glad to see you back every so often Dan. I can imagine it would be hard to leave the reptile world completely.

People still talk about "Dan the Fireman". Dave was talking about it a couple months ago w/ Highwoods Exotics. They were talking about when breeders leave the hobby and sell their stock, the geckos get split up and loose the look that certain breeder had. They brought up 2 fine examples "Dan the Fireman" & "A&M geckos".
