Troubling Craigslist Post

So I every now and then check CL to see what's out there, and I came across someone selling 2 geckos who look like they're being starved to death. If they were dogs in such bad shape, I'd be contacting animal control, but they're geckos so I don't think that would be received very well. I'd love to rescue them and get them back on their feet, but I already have one leopard gecko and a lot of other pets and no money (he's asking $250 for them) and I don't know who or where they would go once they're doing better. Anyone have any advice?

It's hard to do, but your best bet is to move on and not get involved. I look at craigslist in my area every night and there are some real horror stories out there. The biggest danger is taking sick reptiles into your home, finding out they have crypto and ending up with a houseful of dead reptiles. It's hard to see, but safest not to take them.
