Juvenile Biting

Hello, I am new to the forums but needed to make an account + post for an urgent question.

I recently bought 2 Leopard Geckos 6 days ago (one sunglow + one dark spotted), they were both around 3-5 months of age but i think the spotted one is a week or two older as he is growing faster. Anyway i woke up this morning to find the small sunglow outside of the cage and the bigger spotted inside the warm hide, the sunglow went into the warm hide only to be nipped by the bigger spotted on the side. I did not see if the sunglow started it but i saw the larger spotted nip at his side then it was a little nip off, like 2 - 3 nips both sides until i picked up the hide, they both stopped and looked at me and i put the hide down.
The larger spotted ran out into the cool hide whilst the smaller stayed in the warm hide. I see no damage on either side so it was not that hard of a bite.

Could the sunglow have woke up and startled the spotted and reacted in a nip or do juvenile leopard geckos generally have scraps now and again?

The small one usually stays in the warm hide in the day and the spotted in the cool hide in the day to sleep so maybe it was territorial, i really do not want to split them up but i will if it will result in serious injury or death i will.

i set out 15 mealworms each day for them and every morning around 8 go missing so they are both hopefully eating, the sunglow tends to come out more in the day but when the lights go out they are both out roaming the vivarium.
