Hello I have had a gecko since the end of 5th grade I am going into 11th now so about 5 years now. I bought her at a pet store and brough her home in a 15 gallon tank I've fed her crickets most of her life but mealworms about 10 or so times. I was given a heat light I know it's not the best thing now a uv light and reptile carpet I've gave her food and water her whole life she usally gets food about every other day and has never gone longer then a week without food because there was a shortage of crickets at the store. Now here comes the bad part I've never fed her calcium or vitamin d but she probably has got that through the uv light when I bought her I didn't have a computer a phone or even internet so I didn't know much and trusted the pet store the gecko in my prof pic is her and she seems healthy walks around the tank a lot and eats regularly but I'm scared I caused damage I'm going to try and get calcium fast I am going to act light the heat light broke so my mom will take me to buy a new one I don't think she'd take me for calcuim. Will my gecko be fine she has no deformities and seems okay I know a heat lamp is not the best but I feel calcuim and vitamins are the most important right now what do you think it's okay to hate I understand

If she appears healthy, than it's probably okay. Do get some calcium and begin supplementing her food on a regular basis. I recommend Repashy Calcium Plus. It's an all in one supplement that has vitamins and calcium and whatnot that you can use every feeding. You can also leave a dish of pure calcium (no d3) in her tank for her to lick as needed.

I would strongly recommend getting a UTH rather than another heat light. She will benefit from it. =)
