Sudden behavior change

i got a gecko back in September from a friend, i was told it was a boy but i'm pretty sure it's a girl. it's never been aggressive towards me or anything, but all of a sudden it's mean and aggressive. it runs when i try to pick it up like i normally do, hisses and it bit me last night. i just recently moved houses so i don't know if it's just stressed about being in a new place, but it wasn't like this when it was originally brought to me. i know females can be this way when they're getting ready to lay eggs but it's never been anywhere near another gecko so i don't know what's going on. it's eating fine, it's set up has been the same since i've got it.

It sounds like stressed behavior, but it also might be a female. Have you looked underneath the gecko? How old is the gecko?
