So my gecko has never had a problem with food, but the last few times I have fed him he has either only eaten 1 or 2 insects or been totally disinterested. I do know that females usually don't eat when they ovulate, but my gecko is only just about 7 months old! I think she is a girl, but I don't know for sure yet, but even if she is a girl, isn't she too young to be ovulating?? Why isn't she eating?

Geckos can and do ovulate that young, so that would be my guess. You're welcome to post details about your setup and we can troubleshoot that for you to rule out husbandry issues.

Well, my hot side (with hot side hide) stays at 92 degrees, the cool side (with hide) stays at about 80-82 degrees. I have a moist side in the middle. She has plenty of water, and I've seen her poop, she has been drinking plenty of water, just seems real disinterested in food. She just shed, but she didn't seem to have any problem shedding.

Ok good. That makes me feel so much better. I will continue to offer food, but at least I know why she isn't eating.
