Fiona, leo gecko, has been living with me for a month and a half or so. Last week I finally got her new area ready and we made the move. Her former habitat was a 10 gallon tank with fish tank sort of hide, open on three sides. Her new habitat is a 20 gallon long with her old hide, a fully enclosed cave hide, and a cool hide that you access from the top.
Since the move she has not been showing herself. She appears to love the new hide, she is never out of it when I am in the room. She does come out, since she is drinking and eaten a little, and had bathroom visits.
Should I be happy that she seems content? I am so used to being able to see her all of the time, but I know they like to really hide.
Sorry for the long post, Fiona is the first gecko that has lived with me, and I want to make sure I do everything correct for her.

It sounds like she got a great upgrade. I have found that geckos seem to pick a place to rest and stick with it for awhile and then change. It's likely that she's more comfortable in her new habitat. I imagine she will eventually come out more, though it may take more time than you'd like.
