There was an exotic pet show in town this weekend and they had this beautiful Albino Leopard Gecko as the seller called it a Blizzard Lizard. They mentioned he was around a year old. First day brought him home he slept most the day got a little more active at night ( while I was awake) but didn't eat. Day 2 (today) Slept all day again and a lot more active but still did not eat. Day 3 (tomorrow) I am moving apartments temporary for 3 days and i'm worried having to travel since he still hasn't eaten well stress him out too much? Any advice would be helpful, first time reptile owner.
He is currently in a 10 gallon tank ( i am planning on getting a 20 very soon) with one Daylight Blue Reptile bulb 60 watt that I try to keep on 12 hours then switch to the Heat Glo Infrared heat lamp for the other 12 hours. The tank is line with ceramic tiles with eco first filling the gaps and around other places. There are two hides. One is an completely inclosed cave the other is a double sided opened cave with basking area on top. The tank says around 88* F with around 20-30* humidity. I have the light/heat sources places over one side of the tank which is the side where the thermometer/hygrometer are so I hope the enclosed cave on the opposite side of the heat sources are cool enough. Any advice is useful, I did do research before purchasing but am just feeling stressed out since this lizard can't tell me if I am doing something wrong.
