Empty nest syndrome

Or should I say empty exo-terra tank syndrome. Our female was moved into a 20L this week leaving me with a perfectly good, perfectly empty tank. It looks lonely.

Our female appears to be quite happy. Now I'm back to debating...exoterra viv to add a crestie to or simply leo #3. Leaning heavily towards my very own crestie. I got to check out some of Jeanne's back in October & came REALLY close to going home with one.

I had a crested, loved it...but the differnet care needs made things a little more difficult than I had expected with my schedual.
Can never go wrong with more geckos!

I had something almost exactly like this happen to me. I got a great deal on a 12"x18" exo-terra tank and my first thought was "crestie". I actually did get one from Jeanne last year and everyone who comes over including my husband (well he doesn't "come over", he's here) is really fascinated with him. He is in a planted tank which means less care since I don't clean it out. I don't find the care to be any more trouble than a leo. Spencer is a lot more jumpy than a leo so I don't take him out much and then for just a short period of time. It's been really worth it. If you're interested and want to take a bit of a risk, there have been some cresties on Boston craigslist recently.

I love my crestie. I have 12 leopard geckos and one crested gecko. I love him he is so cool. At night when my boyfriend and I are going to bed he will be moving all around and he gets really agressive with meal worms and its cool to watch him stalk the crix on the glass and such. Tonya has some really nice cresties. I got two from her. And we love them. My boyfriend has 3 crested geckos. They are just so cool. and I mean feeding them every other day takes 3 mins and it takes a second to remember the next morning to take itout!
