Hello everyone at gecko forums! i have just recently purchased a very cute, healthy captive bred leopard gecko. i am pretty sure that it is a female. she is about 4 inches long right now. i am just wondering how long it will take for her to reach full length and how big will she get.

From what I've read, on here and elsewhere, it really depends on the individual. But roughly they reach full length around six months, give or take a month or so. They may continue to gain weight however if they are fed a rich diet, but maximum weight for females is around 45-50g at 6-7inches and males 50-60g at 7-8inches. The exception being giants and super giants which can grow up to 12 inches and weigh as much as 170g. Well that's the reigning champ's weight who bares the appropriate name of Godzilla.

Most of my females are a touch over 60g (and I don't consider them over fed or really overweight, just healthy... 45 to me seems small.) and about 7" long. My adult male is a bit longer, much stockier, and is 72G and to me is average weight for a gecko his size.

My geckos have stopped growing around a year and a half.

I have a Male he is 10,5 inch long and 85grams heavy. What is he than? A Giant or a huge normal Leo?
