i know this sounds silly but me and geckostud keep a piggy bank of change and money that we call a reptile fund. does anyone else do this? we just throw any loose change or extra money in it and save up for our next buy. . or does anyone have a set amount of money set aside in their budget for reptile purchases? just wondering..

My Hamburg money is currently in a mason jar. I'll take it to the bank and convert it to paper, then go crazy with it.

Last year we did not breed many leos at all we had 5 hatchlings. so no funds from selling babies to pay for more geckos. SO I did start an enigma fund put money in a jar label it The Enigma Fund. I had decide to curb my morning and sometimes early afternoon coffee buying. I figured I spent about $20 a week on coffee so started drinking more home brew and put that money aside each week 8 months down the road I was able to get couple killer geckos from HISS.

I have a huge glass water jug that i save any extra money. It could probabaly hold several thousand dollars worth of spare change. For some reason though I can barely even cover the bottom before using it all ;) lol. Right now I have $80 stored in there, but with the next two expos I'm going to are in April I got to start getting some more change in there lol!
