After thawing, how long will the remaining amount of slurry last in my fridge? I didn't have ice cube trays so I just used tiny containers. I figured it would last about 2 or 3 days at the most?

I have 15 syringes that hold 2 tsp. I fill them all up with the syringe, and then put them in the freezer (I defrost them by running them under hot water). Each syringe lasts me 3 servings. I had a little bowl of it defrosted out of the syringe and it only lasted about 2 days before smelling horrid and turning dark. With it in the syringe, I get it to last about 4 days. I use it before day 3, anyways.

So I would say 3 days. I just added the frozen syringe bit to give you a tip on how to keep it (I bought the syringes for $1 each at Walmart), so you're not constantly fiddling with the frozen cubes or re-freezing your small containers. I used to use frozen cubes, but it's such a hassle. Now it's simple.

My dwarf doesn't eat on her own, so every month I make her a vitamin, protein, and calcium food mixture, and load the syringes. Lol.

I won't keep the defrosted slurry more than 2 days even in the fridge; they turn black very quickly. I use tiny containers also, what I do is that after each use (just defrosted enough to be able to draw up with a syringe), I put the container right back into the freezer. The slurry can last longer this way. I guess they're good as long as the color is the same...?
