I think they would be cool if they kept there black color but they seem to change dont they and I havent seen a mature one , as well the black its hard to see exactly how black they are in the pictures , I personally wouldnt spend the money if I had it to spend on that but to each their own i guess, would like to see them later down the line.

Being in possession of a Black Pearl i think its fair to say that unless you have seen the morph first hand in the flesh everyone has every right to be skeptical and disapointed with the way it turns out as an adult.

All i want to make clear though is that personally i see no major brown influence on our Black Pearl, the way Craig described the adult pearl's (black panther) is the perfect description, and i think this is why people get the "brown" feeling when they look at it.

Also no matter how you take a picture of theses things in what ever light, flash, no flash, light studio, natural light, dark room etc etc the pictures always come out a hell of a lot more "washed out".

The morph as a whole is fascinating, but when you see it first hand they are just incredible.
Trust me people wont be disapointed with the black pearl in the long run, it can only be improved on, no line breeding has gone into the project yet.

Mack Radars, Patternless Bells and Hyper Xanthic Raptors - all roughly the same price as a BP (perhaps a little less in a few cases) and all are like rocking horse droppings on the open market!!!

some animals from some breeders are expensive and other animals from other breeders are expensive AND coveted! really expensive is what someone is willing to pay for an animal
