So Frankenstein has slowed with eating. She is 6 months and weighs 46-47 grams. I have been marking the feeding and weight since April 7th, and I see that she's eating 2/3 crickets and 1/2 mealworms every other day. And if I put food in front of her and she's not interested at all. So idk I'm getting worried. How do I that she's just not that hungry anymore as a pose to a medical problem like impaction or sick?

I've been told of a couple of better ways to monitor eating.

1) If you get regular poops, then there is food going in. :)

2) Monitor weight. They will lose weight periodically for different reasons. As long as they don't lose more than 10% body weight, there is likely to be nothing wrong. :)

DrC was just telling me yesterday that "leo's over 25grams only need to feed every OTHER day......Leo's heavier than (I think 40 grams) only need to feed every 2-3 days"...

If you are getting poops and there is no significant weight-loss, you can relax a little and just make sure she isn't losing significant weight from here on forward.

TB go my suggestion spot on :) Your gal may be ovulating at that size. Flip her over and check. There's a sticky in the breeding section with lots of pictures. If she's ovulating it's completely normal to be off food for a few weeks. If she's not I would just check your temps and whatnot and leave her be for a few days before you try feeding again. A healthy 45g leo can easily go a week without eating so a few days wouldn't worry me :)
