Im getting new leaftails(mossies and henkeli) in a few days and was starting to set up their cages... ive had leaf tails before but i was going to get branches from trees to use in the tanks.. i know not to use cedar but was wondering what wood is safe? i have apple trees, oaks, pines, hickories, mulberries, and walnuts in my yard and was wondering if any of those shouldnt be used. Thanks

I agree. Baking is the easiest way to cleanse wood IMO.

I bake all branches at 220 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours.
Then I spray down with chlorhexidine and rinse.
Has worked so far.:D

Post some pics up when you get them.
I KNOW I'm going to end up with some uroplatus geckos of some sorts in the near future.
I just have to figure out which ones.
