I woke up this morning in a rush to get out the door and realized I hadn't seen my male on his usual branch for a few days. I decided to look for him and upon further investigation I found an egg at the base of a plant! (Found him also!) Is it common for there to only be one egg laid? Or did I just not dig well enough for the second one, as this egg was right on top.
I currently have the egg in a Glad container filled with moist perlite and the egg itself in a container of dry perlite on top of the moist perlite. There is also a small air hole in the lid of the container. It stays about 72-75 in my closet and then drops with room temperature at night.
If anyone has any more to add to what I have already done please feel free to chime in!
