I woke up this morning in a rush to get out the door and realized I hadn't seen my male on his usual branch for a few days. I decided to look for him and upon further investigation I found an egg at the base of a plant! :D:D (Found him also!) Is it common for there to only be one egg laid? Or did I just not dig well enough for the second one, as this egg was right on top.

I currently have the egg in a Glad container filled with moist perlite and the egg itself in a container of dry perlite on top of the moist perlite. There is also a small air hole in the lid of the container. It stays about 72-75 in my closet and then drops with room temperature at night.
If anyone has any more to add to what I have already done please feel free to chime in!

Was it buried, or just sitting on top? Is it perfectly round and hard? If yes, then it is likely fertile, but if not then it's probably a dud. They roll the good eggs with their hind feet until they're perfectly hard and round, then they bury them. I'd guess you should be digging to look for the single good egg that is likely buried somewhere. :)

No it was just sitting on top but it is perfectly round and did seem soft.
I dug really well just a few minutes ago and did not find another egg. Would the other egg be in the same spot just buried or somewhere else in the terrarium? I dug down pretty deep and around where the first egg was sitting and didn't find anything. She has also never been bred before if that makes a difference. Thank you for your response! :)

Can you post a pic of their enclosure?

To answer your question- I'd say it's pretty certain you have one dud, but there's no reason to think she'd lay a good egg where the dud was since they just drop them whenever and wherever. Many times, they'll be stuck to a branch. When mine have laid one good egg and one dud, the dud has always come first. I'd keep an eye on her and make sure there is some leaf litter or bark for her to lay under, she might still lay the other egg. Or maybe she already did and you haven't found it yet. Dig around carefully and pay special attention to the base of branches and under stuff.

*Wow, I apologize for how crooked that picture is!
Here is an updated picture that I just took this morning since the plants have grown.

You can see more pictures of it and some more info on it in this thread also.

I did look pretty well the first time but it is hard to look with all the plants and branches so I guess I will just have to move as much out as I can and look harder! I saw the egg in the back left behind the plant along with some kicked up moss. The egg was very easily visible so it would make sense she just dropped it.
How deep do they usually lay their eggs?
