Great questions and I wish I knew offhand. I would say that any can be somewhat easy to handle if they are captive bred. It's the wild caught ones that are a pain at times. I can pick mine up, but they don't like me much. The one lunges at me every time it sees me. Mine are both wc mitratus. They have a decent size for coleonyx.

It seems to me they're all about the same size, and I think it depends on the gecko. I have 1.1 C. variegatus and 1.0 C. elegans. the male variegatus is captive bred and has always been very tame. The female is wild caught and was originally very skittish but now lets me handle her. I've only had the elegans for a few weeks and he is definitely hands off, but he's also young, and the young C.v. bred in my house were also pretty skittish.
