Best display gecko

Basically just looking for tips for what the best display gecko is (in people's opinions) other than a leopard as we already have a stunning little one of them.

Only requirements, no huge terrariums, no insane specialist treatment needed, and preferably often happy to display itself

Do you want a gecko that will display itself during the day or at night? If during the day, some of the day geckos are very colorful and small enough to do well in a 12x12x18" eco-terra. The trick, I have discovered, is to set up the enclosure so they have enough secluded space to have somewhere to feel safe, but not a situation where they can hide all the time. They do tend to bask, which helps.

At the moment we are kinda stuck between a giant day gecko or 2 gold dusts...I've heard the golds can be super shy tho and often spend 99% of the time hidden

From watching geckos at work, I think a day gecko would be the better display animal. They are generally pretty active during the day.

I've seen a post for a proven breeding pair of giant day geckos (eggs in there terrarium right now, with there current full set up) for 150 so tbh....I dont know if I can resist such an offer. But I'm not sure if in ready for 2 and I'd hate for anything bad to happen. I love animals but maybe in this case it would be best for me to let it go and wait, build up my own setup and just get the 1

And judging by the way I'm talking I guess I've got my heart set on a giant...at least that ends 4 months of deciding between 3 geckos! [emoji5]

I think the giants are gorgeous but remember that they get big and may need an enclosure more like a 24x24x36".
