Approx. how much do Tokay Geckos run?? I've noticed today that there are a BUNCH in my back yard (i live in South Florida)... all in the bushes and trees and everything... anywhere from about 2 inches to 5 inches... They are just running wild everywhere i looked (must be a huge colony of em)! They are all "normals", obviously, as they are all wild... no crazy "morph" or anything... I was just curious...

I was out back earlier today and trimming the hedges, and when i was picking up the trimmings, i started noticing a bunch of them! So then i took a look around in the hedges, and everywhere i looked, they were runnin everywhere! Never noticed em before.

So yeah, how much do Tokays cost that are about 2-3 inches long?

Thanx!

WOW! ive never seen large adults for more than fifteen(hope nobodies getting ripped off). you cant find cbb, or even baby wc, as far as ive looked around tn. in person, on the phone and the net, and been laughed at every time i ask professionals about tame ones(except one little girl who had hers from a hatch ling and kept it tied to her wrist constantly). so if anyone will talk to me even about it, id love to listen and learn.

Even babies rarely go for more than $30 usually. Even when I have cbbs, I usually sell em around 20 bucks.

I bought my sub-adults for $8 each at the hamburg shows, and 1 from the Reading show. I have noticed that ***** *sigh* has them for sale at $20.

Hey Ted, next time you have some babies, hit me up! :D

Yeah, I agree, not really worth grabbing them, to be honest.

Most expos they are SUPER cheap. I was looking at some babies that were $3-$5, and the larger sub-adults at $9. A few were upward of $18.

So even if you managed to get some, retailing them will be worthless and wholesaling them to a flipper will be a joke.

I've never seen them for more than $30, and given their personalities, I can see why. They are very sweet looking, but the sweetness ends at the looks.

I will say that I'd give good money to see a video of you catching them, though.:p

im pretty sure they are not pricy the highest one i ever saw was 100 but it was this real like perfect WHITE morph

You want to see some RIDICULOUSLY priced Tokays, check out NERD's website. They have some morphs that they reportedly created, but one of them is at like $3,000. The rest are between $250 - $1000.

CRAZY.

I've been wondering about those. I've been upstairs at NERD within the past couple of months, and didn't see any tokays at all. They just be hiding them in a corner or something. I'm sure they don't show you EVERYTHING on the tours... And it's only a $3000 lizard when somebody buys it. :D

Tokays at my local pet shop are only $17 and they are so mean. I asked the guy If I could see one, he tried to grab it and got tagged lol. After he got tagged I said nevermind.
They are really cool looking but most of them are mean. They had tokays about 6inches or longer and about 6 in one tank.
