Exo-Terra Compact UVB Lights

Sometime in the near future I would like to keep a few Phelsuma klemmeri but looking into what lighting would be good for them. Does anyone know if these would be good enough for some phelsuma? I've heard on different places that some cause blindness in some geckos and I'm not sure if this one does. I know I've had problems with the Zoo Med Repti Sun 5.0 compact flourecent. I used it on a juvenile phelsuma madagascariensis and it later caused his eyes to become cloudy and he then eventually died. So this is no good. Now does anyone have any input on the exo-terra compact UVB?

I have used them with frogs in the past and had no issues.
