I'm interested in getting a pair, my local pet store can get them in for 32$ but I don't know if they're worth it. Can they be tamed to handle from hatchlings (I prefer pets I can hold every now and then). Also, are they primarily diurnal or nocturnal? I've heard different answers, but I don't wanna spend the money on uva/uvb if it isn't needed. And lastly, do they make cool active pets or are they more of a dull, hide away pet? Thanks!

Don't know anything about them, but the picture on the Wikipedia looks awesome! I think they'd be hard to resist if I had the resources to house them :p

The only thing I know about them is that they're prone to mites because of the folds in their skins, so be aware of that. I'd love to have some someday. :)

I've already known about the mite issue, and the problem with them that most people don't seem to realize is they tend to be really sensitive to mite treatment :/ but has any one had direct personal experience with them?

Sorry, afraid the two of us can't help you there. Hope someone else can. If I were you, I'd look around online for some breeders and contact them - though I think most specimens are WC.
