KTyne's Naturalistic Build
I started my newest project today! I'm turning my empty 40 gallon tank into a naturalistic set-up for one of my Leopard Geckos. It will be my only "display" tank and I'm quite excited! I'll post pictures as I work on it.

Here is where I'm at right now.

Just cut and put together the styrofoam today and will be letting that dry for a few days before the next step.
I'll be using styrofoam, "great stuff" spray foam, and grout.
Plus some other stuff that won't be part of the actual background.

How exciting! I can't wait to see it.

Next update, here is where I'm at now with my background.
Carved the styrofoam and applied the spray foam. Now I just have to decide if I want to add anything else.

Thanks! I'm not a patient person so it's hard to wait for stuff to dry and cure first, lol.

I'd love to do something like that for my leo someday. What size tank is this for?

I am definitely not patient enough for that. I recently tiled all my tanks and split a 40 for the 2 boys and that was about all I could handle lol. I would like to do something like this for my bearded dragon someday, since my leos just got tank makeovers. Maybe I will learn some patience, but I doubt it lol.
