Can anyone guess the lesion or anatomical feature at the black arrow?

Lymph node mass?

PS: I meant to EMail you, but i'll tell you here...both geckos from you are doing quite well. Both are a bit shy...definately a lot more "nocturnal" than the others...but both are physically/health wise, doing great. :)

Thanks for the update Maia! Any recent photos?
Makes sense since I'm pretty much nocturnal myself haha

The radiograph is actually a lymphangiogram where a contrast medium is injected into the lymphatic system, then a radiograph is taken to visualize the lymphatics!

The radiograph shows the popliteal lymph node (you probably palpate this externally on a regular basis!) connecting to the medial iliac lymph node (black arrow) and then to the cisterna chyli which receives all the lymphatic drainage from the hind limb region. The thoracic duct connects with the cisterna chyli and runs cranially toward the venous angle. I've seen this done often in humans, but it seems to be increasing in popularity with animals particularly in studying lymphoma cases.
