Wow, is all I can say right now. I'm literally shaking with excitement. I can't believe this day has come. The proud mama weighed around 2500 grams before laying the eggs she is now 1806 grams. I was so excited that I forgot to weigh the eggs before placing them in the incubator. It looks like I ended up with 9 good eggs and 1 slug. Not bad at all for my first clutch!!!

I tried peeling the top egg off but it wouldn't come and I didn't want to rip anything. The problem is the top egg is barely touching the lid on the tub. I have read before that they shouldn't be, I tried taking a bunch of the perlite/vermiculite out and it is still touching. Should I be worried about that or what do I do?

Thanks for looking and sharing my excitement!

Thanks, Chris!

Hopefully, I get a bunch of them! I think I'd be happy if around 9 of them came out to be female blasts, haha! I'd be more than down to work out some trades if all well goes well. I also bred the male blast to another normal female (she is super light), we will see if she lays for me.
