I fell in love with this little one a couple of weeks ago and was quite concerned about her. I bought her Monday night and brought her home and am now at a loss as to what type of gecko she is. People I show her picture to would like to know and I initially thought she was a blizzard but she has a pattern and this I believe also ruled out the Murphy's patternless. I believe her tail is not as "fat" as it should be and that she appears a little dehydrated but she is doing remarkably better at my home already. She wasn't eating cricktets at the pet store and I tried for 24 hours but had no luck. I found a retailer of small mealworms and fed her two and with the gusto she attacked them with I do now know she has an appetite. I believe the breeder may have been feeding her mealworms, sold her to the pet store and they tried feeding her crickets which she wouldn't eat. Please feel free to let me know what you think either about how her health looks and what kind she may be.

Thank you.

Hi, there. She's certainly some type of albino, and possibly also a snow, based on the lack of yellow coloration. It's impossible to know what strains or what hidden genes though. Her pattern appears to be striped rather than banded as well.

I agree that she appears a bit thin and dehydrated in these pictures. Hopefully, she picks up eating for you and puts on some weight. Make sure you have a moist/humid hide in her setup as well.

Just a note, but you'll get more responses if you post in the forums for leopard geckos rather than in this chat forum:
