Crested eating problems

I got a baby Crested Gecko at narbc a couple weeks ago. I have been making the fruit paste with repashy and putting it in there every night. I also put meal worms in a dish which I know he eats. How do I know if he's eating the repashy? What should I do if he's not eating it? He just does not seem to be interested in it even when I put some in front of him

You'll get more responses if you post in the Crested Gecko forum (Gecko Forums > Rhacodactylus Gecko Forums > Crested Geckos - R. ciliatus):
Crested Geckos - R. ciliatus

I would stop offering insects completely and only offer a good, complete crested gecko diet (Repashy, Pangea, etc.) until you know your new little one is eating it. While insects are great to supplement for young geckos, you don't want them to be only eating insects. Mealworms especially aren't great for crested geckos as a staple because of their high chitin content.
