I cant get my ambient temp up, any suggestions? i keep my juvenile red tail in a large sterilite tub and she has a decent sized heat pad but i cant keep the ambient temp up in the winter.
Any suggestions?

Ceramic heat emitter. Or else, put a large hide over the heater which will also warm the air inside the hide.

I have issues with ambient in the winter and use sterelite .
I've heard CHE can be dangerous. Id use a thermostat, but I'm switching to a rack system. Maybe this will solve the problem.
My big girl is getting a PVC cage and they recommend radiant heat panels with those if I'm correct.. maybe RHP would work in tubs
