I had never seen that before...this is where I need everyones help....I'm trying to get his feet clean...he is so wiggly, How do I help him, if I can't get him in the warm water . Is there something I can put on them?

Welcome to GF. Does he have a humid hide? Either way, get a tupperware container, put in some moist paper towels and put it on the hot side so he gets warm heat. See if you can encourage him to go into his little "sauna" and maybe he'll be able to get the shed off his feet.

Thanks Aliza, I do have a humid hut, but all he want to do is stay in the corner behind some plants... Also is there a way to find out how old he really is..

if he has stuck shed on his feet and wont sit still you can put him in a small container with a small amount of warm water , if he tends to jump you can put a lid on it as long as there are holes punched and not for extended period of time like 5 minutes or so i have to do this with one of my guys who always seems to have probs with his feet and is waaayyyy to wiggly to hold still it works great.

There's really no way to tell how old your gecko is, because once they're adults... there really isn't much of a 100% bullet-proof way to tell age. In fact, you'd never know our 9 year old female was older than one of our 3 year old normals. However, if he's a smaller guy, he may be a sub-adult, or a juvenile. You'd have to show us some pictures. ;)

I also find that if my geckos are really struggling with feet shedding (we have one RAPTOR female that has issues with the bottoms of her feet (go figure, right?)); I take a q-tip and dip it in vegetable oil and then rub it on to her feet. Works like a charm, everytime.

Welcome! my little joe has had that problem before and has lost some of his claws to that problem :( but what people are suggesting is the right thing to do! Just don't force anything!
