I used to be quite the regular around here for a couple years but have Been MIA for the last year. Some may remember me, most might not, there's a lot of new faces around here.

To start my Name is Benn Concepcion, I've been breeding geckos for about 7-8 years now. I thinned down my collection over the last couple years to go to college and due to lack of space at my parents house. I am no longer in College and now have a "Real" job, A beautiful Fiance of 6 years and a 7 month old daughter. Juggling school, work, reptiles, a Fiance and now a Beautiful Daughter has been quite the task to say the least but i have started to get pretty good at it and now that we have our own place and school is out of the picture I am looking to revamp my Gecko breedings. I also Keep and breed Snakes including: Rainbow Boas, Northern Pine Snakes (Love my 6.5ft Male Patternless Pine) And Ball Pythons.

My plans with breeding Geckos now are what they have always been.

1. FUN Yes its great to make some money, But if you don't love what your doing then is it really worth doing? I have 200+ babies under my belt and can truly say I get just as excited to see the next baby hatch as I was my first.

2. QUALITY Should be #1 but I like to have fun so that comes first. Quality is something that I strive to accomplish not only with my reptiles but in my everyday life. Doesn't matter if its the newest hottest morph out or a baby normal. Each and every one of my animals are taken care of the exact same way and that's with 110% of the animals best interest in mind. One of my slogans/mottos is "Surviving is not Thriving." We make sure that every animal is never just Surviving, but Thriving and living to its fullest potential.

3. EDUCATION One of the ways I like to have fun is through education. I have held local "Reptile Education Seminars" at Learning Centers for Children. Growing up I wasn't really exposed to reptiles early on because my parents "didn't like them" Which translates into they were afraid of them. Once I got my first pet reptile,Rex an iguana, from my Uncle my parents started to come around. Now I see more and more Adults who are scared of reptiles because of what they see on the news or in movies and they don't allow they're children to keep them. Well with the help of an Aunt who is in the School System and my Fiance working at a Daycare I have been setting up to start "Reptile Education Seminars" over summer vacation. I've done a couple so far and they were a huge success. The kids had a blast and the parents left with an understanding of reptiles that they didn't have before. Not too mention a couple new customers :main_thumbsup:

Lastly is SERVICE. If you can't tell by now I love to talk. I stand behind all of my animals 100% and that's the truth. Whether it's helping out someone who is just starting out and they're trying to get everything set up or exchanging info with a Seasoned Reptile Breeder I am always up for a good reptile chat. Don't believe me? Ask my fiance she's put up with several 1am reptile related phone calls:D

With all that being said I look forward to meeting up with old friends and making some new ones. I will definitely not be a stranger and look out for new pics of my current collection and New Additions coming Soon:main_thumbsup:

Welcome back! :D

I remember you :main_yes: We joined the same year. I also take my geckos to college and the Reading Clinic, to teach kids about husbandry. At my last reptile show, I was asked to hold an "education session" at our local Boys & Girls Club. I haven't done that yet, because I worry a bit about insurance. What if our geckos bite a kid? The parents can sue us, right? How are you dealing with this, if I may ask?
