My 1.5 year old corn snake had a bad mite problem a couple of months ago but it looks like it cleared up. i used a mite spray that you apply directly to the snake because they were burrowing under the scales and it looked pretty nasty. since the mite problem she has shed about 3 or 4 times and they are all in one piece and healthy. but if you look closely you can see what appear to be irritated spots with a red/brown coloration.
my question is; are these just scars from the mites or infected scales? any and all help is appreciated.

I don't know a whole lot about mites and corn snakes but they don't look terrible? I think having someone that knows something about snakes take a look at her in person would be your best bet. If you don't have a local friend or breeder you can turn to a vet may be your best bet.
