We'll I made a mistake buying some dragons off of craigslist. Yeah I know. Anyway it's turned out they needed my help badly. Some people shouldn't be allowed to take care of themselves let alone something else. Nowadays there isn't any excuse. The info for proper care is too easy to learn not to take proper care of your pet.

Anyway. I got a male and a female. Brother and sister supposedly. 11 months old. Malnourished and UVB lacking badly. The female appears to be pregnant. After I saw them I took them out of pity for them. I'm not going to hatch the eggs if she has them but she is less than 200 gram. He's maybe 150. Honestly I haven't weighed them yet and I'm going by my leopard gecko weights. So probably less than that. Way to small to have eggs let alone from her brother.

The male has like a twitch or nervous jerk in his toes and leg muscles. From what I've read it seems like a UVB problem. I've got them under a 160 watt solar glo UVB/ heat lamp. On paper towels, they were on sand, water bowl, sales bowl with greens, kale, carrots, and calcium/ vitamin powder. There eating but the male threw up a few hours after I got him home. I just fed him again an hour ago but only 3 or 4 super worms gut loaded and dusted. I really don't know if she weighs more because she has more meat on her bones or eggs.

What at more can I do? I forgot to add I'm misting them 3-4 times a day and yesterday, the day I got them, I soaked them outside in the sun for about an hour. I'm afraid to make to many changes and stress then too much. Should I keep the UVB on more hours than usual, 12 hours, or more like 20?

Please help

Update. I've kept them under a strong UVB light for about 20 hrs a day. Give them regular warm bath/soaks everyday. Daily salads with kale, greens, broccoli, carrots dusted in calcium and vitamins. Along with super worms, giant mealworms, crickets, and wax worms dusted in the same way. Trying to give them high fat content with the wax worms to boost weight gain. Plenty of water also and 2-3 times a day I mist them down good. They seem more active and look a lot more colorful.

Bad, ad, well I guess it's good too, part it she had 13 eggs this morning. 3/4 of them candle fertile but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to incubate them. Good part is she had them rather easy so she didn't die on me from being to small. Now to put some weight on her. Will she continue to have more clutches?

She may. When I had a female, she laid (without benefit of a male) monthly clutches about 4-5 times a season. Her record for a season was a total of 125 eggs!
