I am new to owning Beardies, but have done my research (And learned what I can from many sources, as well as asked questions) but I am kind of in a state of panic over this, as my beardie has a bump on his eye that is causing him to be unable to completely open his eye. It is just his one eye, and he is still acting normally, being active, running etc, and I'm not sure what to do. I can try to get pictures, but he doesn't like to sit still, so it may be a few before I can get a decent picture. I do still have the health guarantee on him, but I can not drive to the store I got him at until atleast monday. And the closest vets don't do emergency/after hours service or don't deal in reptiles. I don't know what to do at all.

Are your watt bulbs too intense? Sometimes the wattage can be too intense and cause some eye discomfort. Or shed can get stuck inside the eye when theyre shedding, or simply something got lodged into his eye, or it's some sort of infection.

I suggest you let a vet check it out as soon as possible, they can prescribe antibiotics for swelling/infection and also maybe some eye drops.

I'm not sure about the wattage, I have two beardies (I know you aren't supposed to house them together, but they are together until I get the new tanks built, plus they are never mean to each other and tend to just ignore each other) but the other one is fine. As for the vet, I will but again, it won't be until monday before I can do anything, since the vets don't do weekends around here.

That's fine. It could be one beardie was walking over the other and it scratched him in the eye accidentally, theres a lot of possibilities with eye issues, so it's best to see a vet. Keep a close eye on him (pun not intended) and if it gets any worse, your only option will to be to drive a far distance to see a vet that is open for emergencies, and does after hour emergencies on weekends too.

It shouldn't get too bad over a course of a few days, but just make sure you're looking at it every now and then, see if theres any changes

Ok, So far no changes for the worse, but I can't tell for sure, but I think it may have gotten smaller? Which I'm going to assume is a good thing, right? I just never had these issues with my Geckos, other than one freak out over a air pocket (Which I found out was pretty normal... Whoops), so I'm a little freaked out with everything and I'm so worried something will go terribly wrong.

If the swelling is going down your beardie may be fighting the infection on its own. If you can I would go to a vet just in case, but theres no need for emergencies of it's starting to get a little better

It got a bit worse, so I would up driving back to where I got him to ask them, and they are taking him to the vet for me, and paying for everything (Since I had the health guarantee and everything), and once they know he is healthy, I will get him back. :) but they think it is something that got in his eye, so hopefully that's all it is. In the meantime, I'm building them their cages so I can change everything and get them all nice and set up with everything.
