I'm getting a beardie and it's pretty much a fact that I'm going bio-active nut upon reading.. I'm not so sure.. My main questions are is is it worth it and how much maintenance is it? Yes,I have also read all the pros but i want to see new cons!

Beardies can be a little messy and excitable so if the plants or whatever else aren't well established you may find them ripped up or torn down. I have not personally seen many bioactive bearded dragon enclosures so if you get one set up, I'm sure we would all love to see pictures !

Well my dragons would definitely try to eat anything that even vaguely resembles a plant.
I had to cut off the plastic leaves from a hide because they were trying to eat it.

I know my dragons would eat all the plants, so it wouldn't work for me.

But dragons are all pretty different, so you could always try.
