Helping my beardie calm down

hello all!

i just adopted my first beardie!
she's 5 and she's really beautiful!
however, moving and being put into a new terrarium (i got her from a private owner, they had a baby and couldn't keep the beardie any more) seems to have stressed her quite a bit
she's gone wild at the glass front, scratching and bumping her nose into it.

i've now put a tablecloth in front of the glass, so she can't see outside.
so far, it seems to have done the job

is there anything else i can do to help her settle in?
i mean, it's to be expected that she's upset, having been displaced and all
or is leaving her be the only thing i can do?
is it okay to leave the glass covered? (it's not covering the ventilation holes or anything, just the glass so she can't look outside)

I guess it's OK to leave the cage covered, but I do feel that beardies need stimulation and it's kind of a shame to limit her access to stimulation. Maybe you could cover 2-3 sides of the tank and leave some open. Also, maybe you could start gradually reducing the amount of time the enclosure is covered. Start uncovering in the late afternoon when she's getting ready to go to sleep and gradually increase the amount of time the cage is uncovered.
I recently adopted a crested gecko that wasn't going nuts in the cage, but would try to bite me every time I put my hand in. I started hand feeding him and talking to him and now he lets me pick him up and carry him around!

I wonder what would happen if, when she does this, you move her to another spot of interest in the enclosure. You should also consider (if you haven't done this already) asking on beardeddragon.org since it's more of a beardie specialty forum.
