New Beardie

I wasn't planning on getting another beardie (I had 1 already), but this one was free on craigslist and is very small, so small that I wonder if she's a Rankins/vitticeps cross. She's about 14" and only weighs 180 grams. She's 6 years old and she was free on craigslist. The owner acknowledged that she had MBD from poor nutrition in her early years but they had since corrected the supplementation. As you can see, her tail is kinked and her forelimbs are also deformed. She's very sweet and eating well. In the picture, she's having her first bath.

She is little! It's possible her growth was stunted due to poor care when young and the MBD. I have a 4 year old male that is on the small side for that reason. He just came to me a month ago, not even. He is 19 inches and I have him up to 340 grams now. He was about 260 grams when he came here.

I think she'll gain weight but I don't know if she'll get any longer. Her body is really short. I even wonder whether she could be a genetic dwarf.
