What do you get when you cross a frog with road squish and a pine cone?

You get...

Thanks.

He is the funkiest little animal...
Just happy sitting around, being fat... until you put crickets in with him, then suddenly he's an acrobat!

I've been wondering how uros are as pets. Is he as friendly as a beardie? He's very cute and kind of reminds me of an old man. :)

Gorgeous! I love the Uromastyx! They've got some cool color morphs in progress now I hear, will be really cool to see how things look in the future for them colorwise! :)

He seems to be quite friendly. His personality is as goofy as he looks. Lot like a beardie from what I've seen so far.

She also had a baby Nigerian Uro that was INCREDIBLE! He was bright orange and white. Amazing looking little animal!

Oh yeah. Very prehistoric looking little guys!
He's not as well handled as my beardie. He's really active and even with his poofy appearance, he's quite the fast little stegosaurus! And very alert.
He eats non stop! Boy, can he put a hurtin' on a Hibiscus flower!
Definitely an interesting guy to have around.

Awesome uro. I just got a yellow Nigerian and its awesome. What size enclosure do you have? I need to know a good size for mine. Also crickets are VERY BAD. Some people say it wont hurt in small quantities every week or so but uros cant handle all that protein at once and it goes to there livers and can cause liver disease. I just feed veggies and thats it.

Oh my... didn't know that... So no cricks or mealies, then... :main_no:
He's in a 30 gallon breeder cage. He seems to like it alot. Lots of room to move around and explore!

I never knew it either. Go over to repticzone.com under there uro forums. The people there really know there stuff. Also read some of the caresheets on them. They were a BIG help for me.
