    Default 3 toed box turtle hatchlings

    recent hatchlings from a pair of 3 toed box turtles. i have had the parents for close to 30 years now and expect my grandkids to inherit these Thats O.K. cause they are so darn cute.

    do box turtles stay in water or land?
    box turtles are land turtles. The parents are kept outside in an enclosure, year round. They hybernate for about 6 months of that. I keep them close to my garden and just feed them from there.
