    Default Mold on wood in tank????

    I decided to move the drift wood from my KSB tank into my tropical fish tank and uppon flipping it over it was covered in 3 diffrent molds. There was a yellow, orange and green mold in little tufts all over the wood. The tank stays extremley dry as does the wood so this just stumps me. Im hoping this hasnt had any adverse effects on the boa, im going to check her over at feeding later. Regardless i scrubed the wood down and its boiling for the rest of the day right now to remove tannins and kill any nastys.

    ANY ideas as to what that crap was? Im about to do a full clean on all my tanks a few weeks early because of it.

    Was it mopany?
    Mold growth on mopany or malaysian wood is normal
