Does anyone know of a reliable supplier for horn or silk worms in the Miami area. Looking to switch off crickets.

I'd switch to dubias if anything. They are higher in protein and have less exo skeletons than crickets. They also can't fly, don't smell, and make no sounds. Also they are very easy to breed yourself.

Don't know where I can find those either. would prefer a local supplier as opposed to ordering in. Had bad experiences with dead on arrival feeders before.

Dubias are not legal in the state of FL. If you want to go roaches, you can do Discoids as they're comparable and legal in the state of FL.
You can check with Roach Crossing. He has a whole list of roaches legal in our state.

Florida Fresh Silkworms on FB sells silkworms, but it's mostly in bulk prices. If you want a lot, though, you can look into them. You can also check out Southern Feeding Co. on facebook. They sell discoids, silkworms and hornworms- though they appear to be out of hornworms right at this second. I plan to order from them, but haven't yet. So if you have any experience with them, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Miamiworms.com has hornworms? Are they who you had a bad experience with?
