First Ever Tarantula

This past week, I had the opportunity to acquire a tiger rump tarantula, which I quickly took. When I got it the poor thing was in a terribly small Kritter Keeper with nothing but orchid bark in it. Moved it to a larger KK while I wait for a new 10g tank (dropped the old one while taking it out of storage.). But here she is!


My friend will also be giving me his beloved Chilean rose hair this week, since he is moving. But she comes with a nice, completely set up 10g. Will post pics when she gets here.

Note: the KK in the pic is from when I got her, not her newer temporary home. That has a half log hide, 3 inches of eco earth, and a water dish filled with filter floss and dechlorinated water.
