    Default Spider ID Please

I found some kind of spider in the woods a few days ago. It seems like a species of orb weaver. It is probably about 1.5-2" in length. What species does it look like? I'll try to get better pictures soon.

There are thousands of species of orb weavers. I was trying to find the specific species of this one. I eventually found out that it was an Araneus Bicentenarius.

Should be correct. In the future, a Location would be of great use, even if its just a state.
Please, please tell me what they looked like,
Did they seem afraid of you?
They were kids that I once knew..

I caught a few of this awesome sp. when I lived in east TX. They are big and showy and the leaf pattern on the abdomen is seriously gorgeous! Nice find!
