I try and go the extra mile, and screen potential buyers. I don't do auctions, because I want to be sure they go to good homes. This year has been good, but I have had a few bad people that slipped through. I recently had a guy buy an adult Leo from me. Later he texted, that she was stressed. He had immediately put her in with his male to breed. After saying some nasty. nasty words to myself, I texted back. I told him he needed to separate because she was not ovulating. I politely asked if I could send him one of my care sheets, since I noticed in his picture of her, there was a bright over head light. He said "no thanks", that he has been doing this for awhile.
I can't believe that anyone in their right mind would drop a leo straight from shipping, into a tank to breed. It is obvious he has no clue about ovulation, stress, and quarantine. My poor, poor girl.
