Well, we've hatched ONE gecko so far this season. Our eggs go to full term and then die. I have no clue what's going on...maybe genetics. It's just depressing and makes me not even want to breed anymore. Very depressing. :(

On a brighter note. I (Mallorie) got accepted into University of Florida's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. It's one of the hardest colleges in UF to get into! Vet School here I come!

Mal, first I want to say congrats on getting accepted to that school... Awesome news for sure...

I do not think your issues with the geckos going full term and the dieing is a genetic issue... I would look more into your incubation first before looking at it genetically...

You could be doing something so slightly wrong, you may not even be knowing it...

Congrats on the acceptance!!

As for the eggs I don't have much info to offer as this is happening to me as well. The eggs are fertile, but I later found out they have died! I have never had this problem until this season :(
Hope things turn around for you and you get many,many babies :D

Awhile ago Matt got an internship I believe? You guys are one hell of a Power Couple, lol

Sorry for the eggs I have no idea whats going on there but have you checked your incubator temps, humidity, etc? And making sure it's not malfunctioning?

Thanks! Not doing anything different than last season. It's mainly the bbb eggs that are going bad along with some others.

Yay! Congratulations Mal, that's HUGE! University of Florida is the BEST IMO...most the docs I work for bleed orange & blue ;) Very impressive! :balloon::balloon2::balloon3::balloon::balloon2:

Hopefully this good news will be the beginning of some good gecko hatchling luck!
