Suggestions on my logo?

I came up with this design fairly quickly, and Am looking for any suggestions.


I am open to a lot. I feel that it is too simple...maybe i'm wrong!

That font works well, in my opinion... Maybe work on it a bit more to incorporate some more details ... you've got a good start.

the first is nice of those two, a good improvement... I'd say stick with the regular font... I honestly prefer it without the 'glow'. Oh and... bring the fonts to the top of the layers pallet and you'll be set.

what about the color scheme?

Also I was thinking of putting like either H|G, or like a gecko eye in the middle of the hurricane....but I don't really know how to go about doing that. any suggestions?

i added the HG and also got rid of the pixelation in the hurricane by dropping one of the layers to the back.

So you are in FLA.? Last one looks good. What program are you working with? I would see if I could get A satilite pic of FLA. with real Hurricane blowing over it. Then put your logo in it with a blowing wind effect on the name. See if you can outline the lettering and incorporate some shadowing as well. Sorry if I am picking this apart, these are just some of the things I would do myself. Good luck let me know if I can help. I am not the best but I am learning.

I like the 3rd blue logo A LOT! lol Can you try that exact design with the red orange color (the second color you used)? Just to see what it looks like.

that was one of my plans, but I need a good image to work with, and I dunno If I could make that work, someone else certainly could.

I agree, but it is hard to do...if someone could help me it would rule, but I dunno if i can do that.

Hey man here is something I whiped up real quick for you. Let me know what you think. I can add a bunch of other info in it as well. Whatever colors you want ect.

I am going for a bit of a different image...

I am trying to do something artsy, and urban.

The eye idea is something I am trying to incorporate, but I need to make it fit. Any trained graphic designer would be able to do it very easily, I just have to try i guess.

hmm..maybe the eye was a little easier than I thought...

Anyone proficient in Photoshop have a better way to do it?

I just used the photocopy feature.

Looks like you have some work ahead of you then. If you are looking for Artsy and Urban. The current Logo is very basic and plain, You need to have way cleaner lettering as well as other factors. I thought you were just looking for a simple plain logo from what I had seen from your original Ideas. If you want artsy you need to spice that baby up.JMO
