Any Black Friday Tips?

I'm trying the whole "Black Friday" thing at Target tomorrow morning, does anyone else go out for the sales? i have a list made up of the stuff i want to pick up, i just don't know what to expect or how early i have to go stand in line in the cold.

learn how to throw very strong punches and kicks

learn how to goudge out eyeballs

and repeat "MINE MINE MINE MINE"

thats what works for me and i go every year and get everything i want :main_yes::main_yes::main_yes::main_thumbsup:

haha i'm not sure i'm ready for all that. maybe since my town's kinda small and the target is newer there won't be as many people. then again, maybe everybody who used to go to other stores will come here instead.

my luck i'll get sucker-punched by a little old lady.

I go to JoAnn's (a fabric and craft store)...But I think these rules apply everywhere. My suggestions:

1. If you see someone eyeballing the thing you want, reach for it first... Even if you haven't made up your mind if you truly want it. Otherwise you just lost that product. If you go along and realize you really don't want it, put it back or just give it to the cashier.

2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with tag-teaming... Want to cover more ground and get lots of deals? Recruit your family or friends into helping you grab what you want! More people, more chances getting what you want.

3. Wake up very early and try to get the best spot in line...

4. Never under estimate the sheer will power and force of little old women or crazy young adults... I've had my foot run over with an old woman's walker and also been tripped by a couple of craft-obsessed young people.

5. Never ever, ever, ever go toys shopping early in the morning... Crazy parents are about three times worse than the cranky little kids.

its 1125 here, and im leaving in 15 mins to go to walmart that opens at 5 to get a Wii

Mii thanks ya'll are CRAZY :rolleyes5: !!! My husband went one year, and called me about 5am to tell me a woman half his size had THROWN him to get to a DVD player lol. Not for us, definitely NOT for us!

i missed out on the one thing i actually wanted from target. we had to leave to go up to PA at like 1am so we stopped on the way just before 5 at circuitcity and got some dvds, but the target there sucked big time. it was old and tiny. the line was around the building so we just waited til it got inside and by that time the one pallet of $59 guitar hero bundles for wii was apparently long gone.
i didn't encounter any violent grannies or anything, just ridiculously crowded stores.
