Sorry British here, I know its something to do with thanksgiving you just had but whats the significance of black friday?
Srt14292 - Black Friday (also called Blitz Friday) is when stores do massive sales the day after Thanksgiving to kick-start the holiday shopping season
This was my first and, most likely my last, Black Friday! Nightmare!! We went to Office Depot to get a $20 router (it sucks lol) and there was a HUGE line when we got there at 5:30 am, but was able to get out pretty quick, they checked us out at the printing desk - no wait.
Got to Wal-Mart by 6:15 am and left at 6:30 am - waaaaaaay too crowded and the $4 mixers and cheap dvds were already gone!! Hiss-boo!!!!! We had to park about 1/4 mile from the store.
Hit Kmart and got some good deals on Black and Decker hand mixers for myself and a co-worker, a Polly Pocket set for my niece, some long johns for myself and other assorted Christmas presents, we were able to check out fast in sporting goods - one person in front of us - woohoo.
At least I got all my shopping done except for my boyfriend's parents

Haha...this year was great.
I was at target when it opend (5:00 AM). When I entered the store everyone one was screaming, running around around and even fighting. (yes fighting). Even though I did not find what I was looking for there was one thing that made it worth getting out of bed. 2 ladys fighting for the last toaster! both arguing like little kids yelling who had it first.
