Olympic Field Herping?

So I was JUST watching the Olympics and American athlete Nick Baumgartner talked about taking his son snake and frog hunting! ie field herping!!! He described it from an educational and family bonding point of view which was really sweet! My only objection was that he mentioned initial fear of snakes and made it seem like they were scary, but hey, field herping got mentioned in the Olympics!!! Did anyone else see this?

I did not see it, but publicity on reptiles in a positive manner is desperately needed.
