Everyone deserves credit when it is deserved. You have talent and should continue to produce the artwork you want.

I know what you mean about wanting to explore different styles of artwork. I have had that feeling too but just feel that there is more to realism then what people think. I think to truly understand abstract work, you have to master realism. I think nowadays, more people want to be abstract artists than anything else. Modern and Contemporary artist are all over the place. When searching craigslist, as I do often now to look for supplies and such for my classroom, I see more "local artist" selling modern and abstract type work.

Always wanted to learn to blow glass. probably will learn one day, seems like a me thing to do...and then die of horrific burns because im like that.

Anyways. REVIVING THIS THREAD. with newer...MUCH better Pastel works. Just the flower pieces for now though.

Awesome stuff everyone! I like the color pencil stuff and paintings best, and sculptures and cartoons! I like them all ;)

I like to blend photography with my art to create Escher-style kinda things...[btw, they are shed free on their toes now!] :main_robin:

I saw this thread and I thought I would share some of my art! some of them really suck though, so bare with me! :D this first one was a colored pencil drawing that we had a week to finish, but I completed it before the second day.... resulting in m getting extra assignments....

and finally this is the hood of a jeep that I airbrushed about a year ago. the flames have faded because they took it off roading the day after I painted it... but here it is tonight!
