As you might have noticed by now, we have added a new Chat program to the site. This is what I have come up with as a solution for our Chat issues. With this new chat program, members have the ability to instant message chat with members they choose to have on the GF Friends List, and they also have the ability to create their own chatrooms.
One thing that I want to be clear on right off the bat, is that this new chat program will not be moderated the same way as the old chat room was. Since you are each responsible for building your own personal friend list, it will be up to you to moderate yourselves. If there is someone that you do not want to contact you, I would advise removing them from your friend list. I will say however that if any particular member becomes a problem due to abuse of this new program, the staff and myself will have the power to remove this person's access from this website. So please respect yourselves and others while using the new chat.
I also want to be up front in saying that at some point in time this feature may become a part of a paid membership package on GF. For now though, have fun playing with the new Chat program!
